Mintology Inc.’s name allegedly infringes a trademark owned by non-fungible token marketplace operator Mintable Pte. Ltd.
Mintable sued Mintology in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleging Mintable owns the senior “Mintology” mark and that Mintology violated the Lanham Act when it incorporated under and sought a trademark for the name. Mintable seeks an injunction against further infringing use of the mark, and a court order to cancel Mintology’s trademark application.
