Customs officials in Chennai caught 30 candidates using electronic devices to cheat during a Central Board of Excise and Customs examination. The candidates, from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar, were found with bluetooth devices and other gadgets. One candidate was remanded in custody for impersonating another candidate. The police have yet to locate the person who aided the cheating from outside. The candidates, who were working in menial jobs, were lured by a team to take the exam by paying a fee and obtaining the electronic devices.
