The World of Women (WoW) NFT universe is expanding to include an iconic board game.
Under license from Hasbro, the digital art collectible brand WoW and WS Game Company have just revealed the new Monopoly: WoW Galaxy Edition, which will be released online on Oct. 17. This special edition is a new take on the popular game, celebrating WoW’s historic web3 community, featuring custom illustrations of iconic characters.
“This is a Monopoly experience unlike any other,” says Kerry Adis, Co-owner and Vice President of Product Development at WS Game Company. “From the custom tokens reflecting legendary WoW characters to the sleek design of the board, this game was curated to capture the wonder of the WoW Universe.”
Monopoly: WoW Galaxy Edition is the first-of-its-kind to showcase a new economy as players embark on a galactic tour through the WoW Universe. There will be plenty of custom elements, such as money that becomes fuel as Ethereum (ETH) and custom gold-toned tokens that pay tribute to popular web3 communities such as Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), VeeFriends, CryptoPunks, CloneX, and Cool Cats. Yam Karkai, Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of WoW, provided creative direction for the board.

The game recognizes WoW’s biggest intellectual property (IP) expansion since its second collection. The company partners with brands at the intersection of art, activism, and entertainment.
