Through Meta’s official blog, they’ve announced that Super Rumble, one of the worlds within their metaverse, is now available as early access through the Meta Quest app. It’s also available on web browsers through horizon.meta.com.
Meta plans to gradually roll out more Meta Horizon Worlds for availability on any Internet-connected device. With this new approach, the conglomerate led by Mark Zuckerberg aims to attract all kinds of users to its platform, which is currently not in its best shape.
According to Meta’s provided numbers, their metaverse manages to gather around 200,000 players on average each month. However, users keep reporting that they encounter empty worlds, and many describe it as a “failure” for the company.
Nevertheless, this new initiative by Meta hopes to make Horizon Meta Worlds a much more accessible option for all kinds of people, whether they have virtual reality glasses or not.
